Swiss German Communication Specialist

Overview

My client is seeking Swiss German Communication Specialists to support a major international client through inbound and outbound customer communication across phone, email, and written channels. This is a remote position, available exclusively to candidates residing in the Cape Town area.


About the Role

In this role, you will support customers on behalf of an international brand through both telephone and written communication. Responsibilities may include customer service, handling enquiries, resolving issues, conducting outbound follow-ups, and supporting customer loyalty initiatives. Full training will be provided.


Key Responsibilities

Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, chat, or written communication

Support both inbound and outbound communication depending on project allocation

Manage customer queries from first contact to resolution

Conduct follow-ups, surveys, and customer updates where required

Assist with customer loyalty, retention, and satisfaction activities

Deliver service in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment

Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and excellent communication at all times

Participate in comprehensive onboarding and product training


Requirements

Fluent/native Swiss German (C1/C2) – verbal and written

Must reside in the Cape Town area

South African ID or Permanent Residency

Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach

Ability to work European business hours, including weekends/public holidays as needed

Good technical proficiency and ability to navigate IT systems

Previous customer service or call centre experience advantageous

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently


Mandatory Work-From-Home Requirements

A reliable fibre internet connection (fixed line only)

A UPS/inverter solution for load shedding (mandatory)

Quiet, professional home workspace

Ability to work effectively with remote systems and tools
