Sports Sales Executive – Corporate Market

R30,000 - R40,000 Monthly

My client is a well-established and highly reputable organisation within the travel and leisure sector, known for delivering premium, tailor-made experiences across local and international markets. With a strong footprint in corporate and group travel, they pride themselves on innovation, service excellence, and long-standing client relationships. Their dynamic environment offers exposure to high-level clients, exciting products, and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, results-driven business.


We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Sales Executive to grow and develop the corporate market within the sports travel division. This role requires a proactive hunter mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to convert opportunities into revenue while maintaining exceptional service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing and new corporate clients

Consistently source and engage new business opportunities

Ensure client expectations are met with high levels of service delivery

Present tailored solutions aligned to client needs and budgets

Maintain accurate, professional, and timely communication at all times

Follow up on proposals and identify reasons for declined opportunities

Drive new sales through lead generation and proactive client engagement

Meet and exceed set sales targets and activity requirements

Conduct regular sales calls and maintain a healthy pipeline

Identify opportunities through industry events, exhibitions, and networking

Ensure all forecasting and reporting is up to date

Compile and present compelling proposals and presentations

Work closely with internal teams to source travel components and pricing

Maintain proposal tracking systems and provide regular sales reports

Support the preparation of presentations for clients and internal stakeholders

Contribute to marketing initiatives, including newsletters and campaigns

Represent the business at industry events and networking functions

Maintain a professional brand presence at all times

Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive rates

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends


Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)

Proven sales track record within a corporate environment

Experience in travel, incentives, or sports travel industry (highly advantageous)

Strong new business development and client acquisition experience

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
