German Customer Service Agent (fully remote)

R200,000 CTC per annum + medical insurance and performance based incentives after 4 months probation

 

German Customer Service & Sales Representative

Remote / Work From Home within South Africa
Training Start Date: June 2026
Salary: R200,000.00 per annum CTC
Shifts: 24/7 rotational shifts


My client is seeking fluent German-speaking Customer Service & Sales Representatives to join their international contact centre team, supporting a prestigious global airline brand.

This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in South Africa who are passionate about customer service, travel, and delivering excellent support to international passengers.


About the Role

The successful candidate will assist German and English-speaking passengers with pre- and post-flight travel-related queries. This will include handling customer relations matters, airline reservations, voice calls, written correspondence, queries, complaints, and general customer support.

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and time-sensitive contact centre environment where service excellence, accuracy, professionalism, and meeting performance targets are key.

Fully paid product and systems training will be provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist international passengers with travel-related queries in German and English 
  • Handle customer relations queries, complaints, and service requests 
  • Work on airline reservation systems 
  • Manage voice calls and written correspondence professionally 
  • Provide accurate information and support to passengers 
  • Meet required Key Performance Indicators and client service levels 
  • Work within a demanding 24/7 contact centre environment 
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times 


Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent German language skills, both written and verbal, at C1/C2 level 
  • Strong English communication skills 
  • Must be based in South Africa 
  • South African ID or valid permanent residence permit required 
  • Excellent computer literacy and technical skills 
  • Previous customer service experience will be advantageous 
  • Must be flexible to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays 
  • No criminal record 
  • Must have a suitable work-from-home setup 


Work From Home Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Fibre internet connection or stable fixed ADSL line 
  • Minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed 
  • Fixed-line internet solution 
  • No wireless internet connections accepted 
  • UPS solution for internet outages, load shedding, or power interruptions 
  • Internet and UPS requirements are at the candidate’s own cost 


Employment Terms

  • Permanent, full-time contract 
  • 40 hours per week 
  • 8.5-hour shifts per day, inclusive of lunch and breaks 
  • Operational hours are 24/7, 365 days per year 
  • Rotational shifts from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays as required 
  • Working hours may change depending on client operational requirements 
  • Paid training period of approximately 4 to 7 weeks 
  • 4-month probation period 
  • Medical health insurance paid by the company after successful completion of probation 
  • Monthly incentives of R2,000.00 after successful completion of probation

The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working remotely in a structured contact centre environment. You must be able to communicate confidently in German and English, handle customer queries with patience and accuracy, and work well under pressure.
